Account Deletion Policy
This page explains how you can request deletion of your Paragon Spelling account and the data associated with it.
Last updated: December 2025
1. Your Right to Delete Your Account
You have the right to request deletion of your account and personal data associated with Paragon Spelling, subject to certain legal or technical limitations. Once your account is deleted, you may lose access to:
- Your saved progress, scores, and achievements.
- Study Hub data and personalised learning history.
- Any account-based features that depend on login.
2. How to Request Account Deletion
Currently, you can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us by email. Please follow the steps below:
- Send an email to pspelling@tips-org.com from the same email address you used (if any) in the app.
- Use the subject line: “Paragon Spelling – Account Deletion Request”.
-
In the body of the email, please include:
- Your username or nickname (if applicable).
- The platform you use (Android, iOS, or other).
- Any additional details that help us identify your account.
Once we receive your request, we will confirm your identity (where necessary) and process the deletion as soon as reasonably possible.
3. What Data Is Deleted
When we process an account deletion request, we aim to:
- Remove personal identifiers associated with your account (such as email or username, where applicable).
- Delete or anonymise your saved progress, scores, and achievements linked to your account.
- Remove or anonymise Study Hub entries and learning history.
In some cases, we may retain certain limited information if we are legally required to do so (for example, records related to purchases or tax obligations), or in an anonymised form for analytics and service improvement.
4. Deletion of Data on Your Device
Deleting your account in our systems does not automatically remove the app from your device. To fully remove local data and app files, you should:
- Uninstall the Paragon Spelling app from your device.
- Clear any cached data associated with the app if required by your device settings.
5. Timeframe for Processing
We aim to process account deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe after verifying your identity and confirming the request. In some cases, delays may occur due to technical constraints, backups, or legal requirements.
6. Reversing a Deletion Request
Once your account and data have been deleted or anonymised, it may not be possible to recover them. If you change your mind, you may need to create a new account and start again.
7. Questions or Concerns
