These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Paragon Spelling app and related services. By accessing or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Paragon Spelling, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the app.

2. Eligibility & Supervision

Paragon Spelling may be used by learners of different ages. If you are under the age required by your local law to enter into a contract, you must use the app under the supervision of a parent, guardian, teacher, or responsible adult who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

3. Educational Purpose

Paragon Spelling is intended for educational and entertainment purposes. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the content is accurate and appropriate, but we do not guarantee that all words, definitions, or translations are error-free.

4. User Accounts

Some features may require you to create an account or profile. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app except where allowed by law.
• Use the app to harass, bully, or harm other users.
• Interfere with the normal operation, security, or integrity of the service.

6. In-App Purchases & Payments

Paragon Spelling may offer optional in-app purchases (such as removing ads or unlocking premium content). These purchases are processed securely through the Google Play Store or App Store. All payment terms, refunds, and billing issues are handled by the respective store’s policies.

We do not have direct access to your full payment information. Some premium items may be one-time purchases, while others may be subscriptions if offered in future versions.

7. Advertisements

The free version of the app may display advertisements. We aim to keep ads appropriate and non-intrusive. You can remove ads by purchasing an ad-free option, where available.

8. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, content, graphics, logos, and code, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of the app beyond what is expressly allowed in these Terms without our prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Content & Links

The app may include links to third-party websites, services, or content. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties. You should review the terms and policies of any third-party services you choose to use.

10. Service Availability & Changes

We may update, modify, or temporarily suspend the app from time to time to improve the service, fix bugs, or add new features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may discontinue certain features without prior notice.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

In all cases, our total liability for any claims related to the app will be limited to the amount you have paid (if any) for use of the app during the previous 12 months, or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that may cause harm to us, other users, or third parties.

You may stop using the app at any time. You can also request deletion of your account and data as described in our Account Deletion Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country or region, unless otherwise required by local law. Any disputes shall be handled by the competent courts, subject to any mandatory local consumer protections.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
